RON BERRY - KENTUCKY, USA, - 2005

Ron's Portuguese-Texan-Heart-Shot Bison weighed 1832 lbs on a truck scale after bleeding out.  The Bison was shot
from behind and the bullet exited out the throat, for a total of 8 feet (244cm) of penetration.

It was taken Christmas Eve 2005 at a farm in Nebo, Kentucky, mainly as a test of the GSC FN penetration.

Ron used his .510/460 Weatherby Improved Jenkins and Berry rifle, which is equal to a 500 A-square, loaded with
110gr of RL-15. The rifle has a 23" barrel with 1:10 twist.

He reached a speed of 2405 fps with the GS Custom .510 570gr FN bullet and reports:
"Weather was unseasonably warm and GSC performance was seasonably excellent as always".
