John Lambregts of Idaho sent this picture of his wife, Marsha and her first antelope. She took the 12.5" antelope north of Idaho Falls in September 2001, after a short stalk through the sage brush.The distance was 150 paces. She used John's '97 Brown single shot in 6ppc, loaded with 62gr GS Custom HVs over 25.5gr of Tac, Lapua cases, WSR primers. Velocity was about 3400 fps and the antelope fell in two steps. The accuracy and ease of shooting the light recoiling loads were a real benefit to her on the hunt.
