GS Custom recoil brakes have been used since 1983 to reduce recoil. The current design is a sixth generation development of the original brake and will reduce recoil by 50% or more, depending on caliber.

The advantages of fitting a recoil brake are:

On a medium calibre rifle, the strike of the bullet can be seen through the scope. - Shooter confidence is increased.
Rifle stock damage due to recoil is reduced to insignificant levels. - Reduced costs and avoidance of expensive repairs when on a hunting trip.

Registers will all take more than double the number of entries compared to competitive products. Coupled with the low price, the cost of each register entry is less than one third of the price of competitive products. All registers are hard cover and colour coded for convenience. All our registers include guidelines on the correct use of the new registers in accordance with the Act.

GS Custom Bullets, situated in Port Elizabeth on the East Coast of South Africa, manufactures solid copper, turned, monolithic bullets for hunting and sport shooting. These bullets are used by hunters on several continents, hunting from the smallest of antelope to the largest of dangerous game, using the smooth HP bullet, as well as the more popular HV, FN and SP bullets with the patented drive band concept. GSC bullets are configured for the highest possible ballistic coefficients. SP bullets are mainly used for sport shooting. All GS Custom Bullets are coated.
